Success stories
Our doggies finding furever homes is our biggest accomplishment!
Hearing and sharing from our adopters about the doggies and about their experience in working with us or about the doggie they adopted, means the world to us and makes our day, every day so we are sharing with everyone as well!

Adoption of "Storm"
"I live on my own with my 3 year old Romanian Rescue, Rita, in rural Somerset. We'd been looking to adopt another after fostering several from Romania and a foster friend showed me a picture from a rescue charity taking dogs from Oana - a puppy called 'Storm'.
It seemed fated as the other love of my life is my motorbike, the model 'Storm', also he had similar markings and colour to Rita. I needed to have him. After a gruelling process of interview, questionnaire and virtual home inspection , it was agreed. Unfortunately we had to wait many weeks before he could travel but with regular updates I knew he was in good, caring hands with Oana and her lovely family.
He finally arrived in August, in good condition and my Rita took to him like her own. Unlike other rescues I've fostered he was clearly socialised and settled quickly - Rita took over a year to fully trust humans again!
As with most puppies he has not been easy, but thankfully he has got through the phase of trashing my house and garden and 8 months later he is a handsome, proud, loving, sociable boy and we can't imagine life without him.
Oana has kept in touch to follow his progress and I have nothing but admiration and praise for what she does.
What Oana doesn't know (I've been too embarrassed to admit) is that my daughter felt that the name 'Storm' didn't suit him and renamed him 'Radi' after Oana's family name."

Luna and Blanche
"I am moved to say a few words about Oana and 'No Paws Left Behind'. I have never met Oana but have known her virtually for nearly a year. She is the person who rescued my girls - Blanche and Luna. These two rescued Romanian dogs mean the world to me and I am forever grateful for what she does. She and her family make huge sacrifices to rescue dogs. What they are doing is amazing. Saving cruelly mistreated and abandoned dogs and rescuing them from kill shelters is so selfless. My Blanche was rescued hours from being euthanised whilst Luna had been abandoned on a country road. Oana saved the both. She is a remarkable caring person who loves dogs. For her 'No Paws left Behind' is her life. It is a great, albeit under resourced, organisation. I buy food for the dogs she rescues every month. I know Oana and the dogs she rescues could do with your support. Please help them."
