FOSTER A DOGGIE

Fostering is vital in our work and for our work.

We need experienced in raising doggies people to open their homes and heart to our rescued doggies. Fostering a doggie is of tremenadous help for the doggie!

In foster homes, rescued doggie learn how living in a home is, with a family, they learn what routine is and they learn to relax, feel true love and they also learn and feel that the human hand is for loving them, not hurting them!

Fostering doesn't only change the life of a doggie but it is so rewarding that it changes your life as well!

Bella

Bella is a sweet 10 year old girl that has been surrendered by her so called "owner"!

She suffered for two months because that so called "owner" was her life, sad that she was not his life :(

She started to come out of her shell little by little and to accept love and care!

She deserves a forever foster as she is already 10 years old. Ideally, a home without other doggies and with an experienced foster!

TO BECOME A FOSTERER WITH NO PAWS LEFT BEHIND ROMANIA

Criteria to meet in order to become a foster with No Paws Left Behind Romania â€‹

Romanian rescue doggies are unique and we love them. At the same time, Romanian rescue doggies have been through hell or worse in Romania, on the streets, in kill shelters, public shelters, dumped, abandoned by owners, beaten, abused and the list can continue ... unfortunately ...

In order to be a foster with us, you must:

  • be extremely experienced in raising doggies, ideally, to have experience with Romanian rescue doggies.

  • work from home as most of our doggies, although we try to socialize them as much as possible, need long-term guidance and to be socialized.

  • have a secure garden with 6ft tall fencing.

  • have children in the household over the age of 10 and very much aware and experienced in how to behave with and around scared doggies.

  • have all and any resident doggies spayed/neutered.

Most of our doggies, have never experienced living in a house, hearing noises that we find normal, so they can be extremely nervous until they decompress, and after decompressing, they need time, guidance, patience, love and experience to be helped. Socializing them, house training them, walking on a lead, is part of what the foster will need to help the doggie with.

In the fostering process, we are always here for you, with any questions you may have and more.

Thank you so much!
